Deleting a Web control or Timer leaves its event handlers in the page

In a Web project, deleting a control (for example a FileUploader with its FileUpload… handlers) or a Timer (with its Tick handler) from the page designer leaves the handler methods in the page, so they still show in the Methods list. Desktop projects delete a control's event handlers together with the control. If a new control is later given the same name (for example a new Timer1), its events are silently wired to the leftover methods. Expected: Web matches desktop — deleting a control removes its handlers, and undo restores both.
