On macOS, a CLI/native executable imported into a project's Resources tree loses its POSIX executable permission when Studio deploys it into a Run/Build/Publish output. A source file that is 0755 becomes a regular non-executable 0644 file inside the generated application's resources, causing process launch attempts to fail with "Permission denied".

This is a Studio resource-deployment bug rather than a user configuration error. Manually restoring the execute bit with chmod +x on the deployed copy makes the same executable run successfully.
