Menu items with a duplicate macOS role disappear at run time

On macOS, menu items assigned a macOS role (About, Preferences, Hide, Hide Others, Show All, Quit) are moved from their own menu into the application menu, following standard macOS conventions. When more than one item has the same role, only the first of them is moved and the extra items are silently removed from the menu bar entirely: they disappear from the menu they were added to and never appear in the application menu. Their captions cannot be seen anywhere at run time, which looks like the Menu Bar editor's Text field being ignored.

New desktop projects already contain a Quit-role item at the bottom of the File menu, so adding a second item with Role = Quit (for example to give it a custom caption) makes the new item vanish at run time.

Expected behaviour: the first item with a given role moves to the application menu; any further items with the same role stay in the menu where they were added and keep working, so no user-created item disappears.
