Debugger view briefly blanks between steps

When stepping through a program in the debugger, the code view and call stack briefly go blank before the next line appears. This flash makes repeated stepping distracting and can look as though the debugger has lost its place. Keep the debugger view visually stable between steps, with the execution marker and inspection data updating when the next pause arrives.
