Printing Demo PDFs and printouts are fuzzy

Printing from a desktop Objo application, or saving its print job as a PDF, can produce visibly fuzzy and smeared text. This is reproducible with the bundled Printing Demo: the saved PDF is already unclear, and paper output has the same problem. Text and graphics should remain clear at normal reading and print sizes.
