DateTimePicker calendar pages many months per trackpad swipe

On macOS, scrolling over an open DateTimePicker calendar popup with a trackpad or Magic Mouse pages the calendar through many months or years within a single swipe, making the popup nearly unusable for people with those devices. The calendar should advance about one month per wheel notch, the same as it already does with a conventional notched mouse, and purely horizontal scrolling should not move the calendar at all.
