Bind DateTime values in database statements

Allow DateTime values to be bound directly to placeholders in database statements. An app should be able to insert or update a date or time column using a value read from DatabaseColumn.DateTimeValue, without converting it to a String and adding a database-specific SQL cast. This should work with PreparedStatement.Bind and with parameterised SelectSQL and ExecuteSQL calls on supported database connections.
